Who we are
Dewemoji is operated by an independent developer based in Indonesia. For privacy concerns, email hello@dewemoji.com.

Contract: To process purchases, issue license keys, and provide paid features.
Legitimate interests: To prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve services.

What we collect
Website basics: Temporary server logs (IP, user-agent, referrer, URL) for security.
Preferences: Theme mode, recently used emojis, stored in your browser only.
Pro licensing: Email, purchase ID, and license key. We also store activation metadata (hashed profile/device IDs, timestamps).
API usage: License key hash, IP, endpoint, and timestamps to enforce fair use.
Support: Emails or messages you send us for help.
Data processors
We rely on trusted third-party providers, all GDPR-compliant:
Payment: Gumroad and/or Mayar process payments and share minimal data.
Hosting: Our servers and backups are hosted by providers with strict security.
Email: We use Gmail/Google Workspace to handle support and notifications.
CDN/Delivery: Cloudflare or similar services to serve assets globally.
Cookies & local storage
We only use essential cookies/localStorage to remember preferences and login/license states. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.
Retention
API logs are deleted after 30 days. License and purchase records are kept for accounting and fraud prevention as required by law.
Your rights
Access your data and request a copy.
Request correction or deletion of your data.
Object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances.
Withdraw consent for optional features (if introduced).
Lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.
Sharing
We do not sell data. We only share necessary data with processors listed above or when legally required.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or regulations. If changes are significant, we will announce them here and email Pro customers.
